Chapter 314: Giving Her a Choice
Chapter 314: Giving Her a Choice
The fighters were not strong enough to pose a threat to Damian, at least not the four who passed to the next round.
Damian wanted to face the one they called the reigning champion. He had seen the champ fight against someone, and his power was not that bad.
’It won’t be enough to make the fight fun, though,’ thought Damian.
They waited for the announcer to come and call them to the next find. Everyone expected to face the champion of the night, but the event had other fights stored for them.
"We’ll have a beast fight," the announcer said, "All of you, come with me."
The next fight of the night would be against beasts, which was not what Damian was expecting, but he didn’t complain about it. He followed everyone else. No one wanted to be close to him, so they all got away from him, afraid that Damian might kill them.
Damian had shown them his power for a few seconds, but that was more than enough to scare them for life.
They passed through the underground area of the coliseum, stopping before a massive iron gate leading to the arena.
"This will be a different type of fight," the announcer said as he turned around to face the fighters. "It will be all of you against the beasts, so you need to work together. The beasts are not weak."
The fighters were all smiles after hearing that. What scared them was the idea of having to fight against Damian, but with a fight like that, it wouldn’t be a problem. In fact, things might be a lot easier considering Damian would be on their team, helping them kill the beasts.
That was what all of them thought, at least. Damian had something else in mind.
They waited a few minutes by the gate while the event’s organizer announced the fight, and how it would work, as well as the beasts that would be facing the fighters.
Before the fight started, they used magic to create a barrier around the arena so that the beasts wouldn’t try to flee or attack the people watching the fight. Damian was pretty impressed by their display of skill.
’This is a powerful barrier. They must have powerful people to create this,’ he thought.
The iron gate in front of them opened, and the fighters slowly made their way to the arena. Everyone screamed, cheering for the fighters who had just showed their impressive skill during the battle royal.
Everyone was excited to see the fights against the beasts after hearing what creatures the coliseum had. Chimeras, Two-Headed Dragons, a Hydra and a Thunder Bird.
These creatures were quite powerful, but still not enough to pose a threat to Damian. There were many subspecies of the same creatures, and the ones in the coliseum were the weakest among them.
The announcer said, his voice echoing through the coliseum with the help of magic, "The first beast to enter the arena is the Chimera!"
A massive chimera moved toward the arena, going straight to the fighters who were there too. The fighters were not scared. One of them went close to Damian and said, "With you here, none of these creatures can face us."
It was a team match, indeed, but that didn’t mean Damian would help them. He looked at the four fighters and said, "I don’t feel like helping you. Let me take a quick nap. Deal with it."
Damian went to the corner of the arena and laid on the ground, closing his eyes for a proper rest. He didn’t feel like helping them. In fact, fighting against those creatures would be boring, and something he wasn’t inclined to do.
They didn’t know what to do. "What do you mean? This is a team match, so we must work together as a team!" one fighter said.
With a smirk, Damian said, "Yes, the four of you can work together as a team. Also, if you keep talking to me, the chimera will have an easy time against you."
The fighters turned around only to realize the chimera was already moving toward them, and it was close, ready to attack. They had to start moving. Staying there hoping that Damian helped them was just asking to get killed.
None of that concerned Damian. There was no rule saying that he had to fight and work with them to win against the beasts. The man who was in charge of the event didn’t say a word after he saw Damian laying on the ground.
The four fighters had to work their asses off to survive. Damian saw how the chimera almost killed one of them with its snake-tail attack, but in the end, they won against the creature.
"Good job," Damian said to the approaching fighters.
After the fight, the fighters would have a few minutes to rest and recover for the next fight, which undoubtedly would be even harder than the first one. So, considering they had suffered a lot just to win against the chimera, the fighters were not so excited for what was to come.
"You need to help us, or we’ll get killed," one fighter said.
This fighter in particular was a woman. She had black-hair, pale skin, and beautiful curves. Damian analyzed her body, especially her boobs and legs.
It was a gorgeous lady. Damian felt like it would be a shame for her to die against a beast in a coliseum. He could already imagine himself talking to her after the fights ended to celebrate their win.
He gestured for her to come closer to him. The woman didn’t understand the reason behind it, but she walked over to him the same. Damian whispered in her ears, "I’ll help you leave this place with your life if you think about repaying me with a good fuck. What do you say?"
She looked at him and bit her red lips, whispering back, "I’ll let you fuck me as many times as you want if you help me."
